Kat B, CVT Certified Veterinary Assistant

My name is Kat and I am a certified Veterinary Assistant. I have two cattle dogs, a husky/wolf mix, 4 cats, a horse, and several chickens and ducks. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my two children and making memories. I also enjoy horseback riding, camping, mudding/4 wheeling, fishing, and exploring the beautiful countryside.

I have been working in the veterinary field for 12 years now and I have worked in all aspects of the clinic, including kennel assisting and receptionist duties. I have also worked in ER/critical care as well as with specialists but my favorite part of the veterinary field is wellness/prevention care. Preventative care is the most important part of my job and it helps your fur baby stay healthier. Early detection of disease and intervention allows us to determine the best course of care for your fur babies.

I love to help answer any and all questions you may have about your fur babies. Nutrition and training are my specialties that I have studied long and hard to help keep your fur babies healthy and happy. Training builds confidence and provides mental stimulation and strengthens the human-animal bond. Good nutrition gives your fur baby the building blocks and energy components that allow them to grow, develop to their potential and stay active throughout their life.

I look forward to helping you keep your fur babies healthy and happy for as long as they are in your life. I treat each and every patient that comes into the clinic as if they were my own.
